Read from May 01 to 25, 2013
This is one of my favorites of the PLL series because it's so different. I absolutely loved exploring Ali's world before the series really started. Note: I don't think you should read this before reading at least the first 8 books of the series. That's just my opinion, mainly because it may potentially spoil some things for you.
All in all, I thought it was truly interesting to read about Ali's background and really be invested in her story as in the PLL books she's only brought up as a character who is already gone before the series starts. I'm really glad Sara Shepard chose to write this novel.
